Kudeta Picks Up Minka Studios’ 3D Content - 9/23/2010
Kudeta Content Providers has reached an agreements with Minka Studios to distribute the company’s 3D content produced in association with Pleasure Dynasty.
The distribution deal kicks off with Boobers Calendar: International 3D, Stolen Vacation Videos 3D and Stolen Home Videos 3D, which will be available for digital distribution across numerous formats including mobile, video-on-demand and broadcast.
“It’s an important deal for Minka Studios,” studio President Juan Vargas said. “As the 3D trend continues to grow, I plan to add niche-oriented lines to our catalog. I’ve already detected some specific genres beyond amateur, ‘gonzo’ or features that will be enriched by 3D video technology.”
David Pineda, sales associated for Kudeta clearly is a big believer in the power and potential of 3D content and distribution.
“Right now, the market for anaglyph 3D covers every delivery platform already available,” he said. “I sought out Minka Studios because they are producing 3D content targeted to a wide audience for VOD, broadcast and mobile delivery systems.
“With the 3D TV units now entering the consumer market at prices comparable to a regular HDTV unit, we are getting closer to the time when this technology is accessible to the average consumer and Kudeta is always looking ahead for the most advanced delivery platforms and the content to fill them.”
The deal will be expanded to eventually include polarized 3D content playable on 3D TVs.

Minka Studios at Hollywood's AVN Show - 8/15/2010
Minka Studios first official showing at the AVN Show in Fort Lauderdale, Florida was a success! Juan Vargas's appearance on the "'3D: Fad or Future?" panel was an incredible opportunity to dispel some of the myths about 3D production for adult entertainment, and generated many industry contacts that will look to Minka Studios as their preferred 3D technology provider in the future.
Minka Studios enjoyed a lot of press and industry enthusiasm, by having available a prototype of the first Twin Lens 3DHD professional model camera. The 3D camera will be released next September. Having the rig available all weekend was a perfect time to test out the functions of this new camera, and produce polarized 3D video clips, to compliment the high quality anaglyph content that Minka Studios is becoming known for.

Minka Studios will be at Hollywood's AVN Show - 7/12/2010
It's confirmed that Minka Studios will have booth #622 at the first annual AVN Show, held August 5 through 8, 2010.
Minka Studios will display their latest 3D video and stills images, shot in association with adult production company
Pleasure Dynasty. On Friday, August 6, Minka Studios founder, Juan Vargas will take part in a special panel discussion,
"3D: Fad or Future?", moderated by AVN Associate Managing Editor, Steve Javors.
Anaglyph 3D has been around for a long time in various forms, but the quality of 3D video that Minka Studios has
achieved is superb. The recent boom in 3D video, and the arrival of 3D cameras to US consumers is creating new
opportunities to the adult industry. Anaglyph technology allows 3D content to be delivered via the Internet, as well
as on standard DVDs, thus maintaining low distribution costs. It is a very good initiation into 3D and preparation for
the upcoming 3DTV technology that was standardized at the beginning of 2010.

this production, a venture into the future.
